Displacement

first it slides over a groove
           removes the house
                                 affectual
both bunches
standing
             idea

as we pull another man
& leave his image
                                                       pulls/
pairs of our arms
           out of the starting box
           several repetitions
           giving over to a force
                                   still unknown

& 2nd it attaches
                                   to said idea
essence strapped to cobwebs
           mixed with weeds
caught in said groove

like being mine
& hair
                      wet from plaster
where his head might be –
                                 need not be
need not harrumph
           goddamn thing

with our hands
                                 we clear it out –
                                            the third image

stripped of value
dried weeds still growing
us pulling him
                                 /slides

behind the bed
           unable to escape
a censorship

imposed by resistance
